Neutrality

Fashion focus: neutral colors

Let's take a break from the flamboyant trends emerging lately and go back to a color palette that withstand the test of time.

Fashion neutrals are basically colors that can go with anything. You won't have a hard time thinking what to pair with these hues.

Here's the thing though (a frugalista's unsolicited advice) that doesn't mean you should purchase a lot of items in neutral tone. Few pieces will do since they can be worn in so many ways. To be specific, you can select one to three fashion items in neutral colors that you like and looks good on you.

Here are some fashion items we suggest you get a neutral color: jacket, skirt, pants, top, bag and shoes.

How to identify if it belongs to what we call neutrality? Neutral usually means without color.    Popular shades include: beige, ivory, taupe, black, gray, brown, khaki and white.

Ok, enough of this talk about neutrals and get down to business. The application of the look where everything is in neutral shade, top, pants, accessories, and yes, even undergarment. :)

One of my favorite tops that I got from a thrift shop is this sheer lacey top, color: beige.

I love the vector style of the fabric!
Accessories in taupe-bag and belt.

My Casio watch is so vintage, I owned this since I was in grade school.

Instead of a tanktop, I used an undergarment of the same shade.

The pants-given by my mom. (H & M), dark brown.

This necklace is to add elegance and to make the outfit more stunning despite of its neutrality.

PS.
Wear a matte red lipstick to balance everything neutral.
