Scarf Top

You might be surprised to know that there are innumerable ways to wear a simple scarf. You just have to let your creative side explore different options you can do with that piece of cloth that keeps you warm.

For this look, I thought of wearing my scarf as a top.

This is also perfect for those days that you want to wear something unique, stylish and of course without having to spend a lot.

And oh, you do not have to sew or have pins for this one. You basically need a scarf. Tie the end to the other end, and voila, you have a top already. Just make sure it is secure, of course a wardrobe mishap is a no no, better with a blazer or a cover up. Well, if you feel like just wearing at any way you want it, be YOU-nique.

Notes on choosing a scarf (to be worn as a top):

Pattern. Pick a design that manifests who you are.

Size. Scarves vary in sizes as well, you have to get something that will cover your upper body. It would be better if you choose the rectangular type of scarf. This will depend on your body type though. For sure, you don’t want to be a head turner because of a top too short or too long for you to wear.

Mix and Match. What to pair with my scarf top? The pattern or the design can determine the accessories or other piece of clothing.

For this shoot, I opted to have a Barbie doll look sort of thing since the scarf looks like a pink floral top. Paired it up with a pink lipstick and feminine vibe. Add up the European inspired blazer and the London flag designed bag.

Left-me, wearing the actual scarf with Michelle, playing around with our Nikon lens cap. Right-scarf top. Period.

Until next time girls!

XOXO,
Rona
