Yellow Wonders

Hello yellow!

Yellow is the color of anything related to the sun. Sunflowers. Sunshine. Sun rays. It looks cheerful and warm. Can be seen as an attention-grabbing color. And as part of our summer celebration features, I am donning a "brighter than the sun" peg, yet again.

Bright colors' ultimate best friend forever= neutrals. Paired up striking yellow top with white shorts to tone down the mood.

Sunnies. It is a must, to stylishly protect your eyes from the bright sunlight.

Summer 2013 is about colors. Play with it. Yellow can also be a shade for shoes, bags, bracelets, necklaces, and even nail polish.

Add an elegant necklace if you want a day to night look.

Note: yellow is generally vibrant or eye catching, there are others shades you might want to add in your wardrobe like mustard yellow or citrus which is not so attention grabber.

XOXO,

Peace is the Answer

Think bright. Think happy. Think colorful. Peace is certainly the answer (as what my shirt says)!

This is the official theme of TFP girls for summer. And that's what this feature is all about.

The breathtaking beauty of this shiny sunny weather is seen on the vibrancy of flowers which blooms even more. Summer is ultimately the season for their charm and captivating colors.

Hence, with the color of flowers as a fashion inspiration, I grabbed the brightest and boldest pieces on my closet.

Check it here:

Who would have thought that pink peach on pink will look this awesome? :)

About the look. Picture says all.

I did not opt for the floral trend as I thought it would be too much, since I have flowers as my background.

Ciao for now and thank you for dropping by,

Sheer in Summer

It's summer!

And a pop of color is necessary for some hot summer fun. So, I am loving this hot pink top of sheer fabric which speaks femme vibe. Certainly the best way to shine this season.

Sheer fashion remains to be a statement this 2013 actually. It evolved from a seasonal accent to a year-round trend last year. Sassy or classy, subtle or sexy, monochromatic or colorful, sheer accents are so fun to play with.

As for me, wearing sheer means showing an asset and hiding what needs to be hidden. (I'm certain you can relate to this statement.)

Trying the sheer clothing trend does not mean baring it all. An undergarment is necessary. Find balance. If you want to wear it to office, wear a sheer fabric underneath a blazer.

Think it's too loud? Downplay by wearing neutrals, (opt for black and brown) like my leggings and bag.

Hot pink top + yellow, brown and blue on my shoes= flamboyance in a subtle manner. It's time to embrace colors into your style Miss Frugalista.

Frugality: my gold bracelet is a lovely piece I found from my hubby's forgotten treasure box.

Never too late to wear a lovely pair of dangling earrings. Try one today and shine.

An oversized bag is exactly what I need since I bring a lot of stuff whenever I go out. I love that this bag is in neutral color. :)

Lots of love this summer,
